James, the Creator and CEO of Two Daughters Entertainment Ltd is a British entrepreneur, turned children’s book author. James has 40 years’ experience in publishing, media, marketing & assisting with the growth of global consumer and luxury goods companies. James will shortly pilot expansion of Two Daughters into North America, opening a small office in Los Angeles.
CEO
Simon has nearly 20 years’ experience in the Film & TV industry. Simon started out in Marketing at Paramount Pictures in London before moving to Sony Pictures as a Sales Director, supervising over 30 markets in EMEA and overseeing the release of blockbusters Skyfall, The Amazing Spiderman and Men in Black 3. Simon worked at Studio Canal, as SVP Global Distribution overseeing the releases of Paddington 1 & 2, Shaun The Sheep Movie and Early Man, and as Head of Distribution in the Middle East, for Twentieth Century Fox & Warner Bros, releasing The Batman, DC Super Pets and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Non-Executive Director / Board Member
Sophie Watts was the co-founding president of STX Entertainment, a $2 billion+ studio known for pioneering star-driven Hollywood content. She is an award-winning producer and a prolific angel investor, recognized for her influence in the entertainment industry. Sophie has been named one of the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Entertainment. Currently, she is one of four founders of Radical Tempo, an early-stage startup focused on AI-driven social media and entertainment. Her work continues to push boundaries in both film production and cutting-edge technology.
Non-Executive Director / Board Member
Gavin Wilson is a leader in the field of development finance. He was Founding CEO of IFC Asset Management Company, the private equity investing unit of the World Bank Group's International Finance Corporation, and more recently CEO of DAI Capital, the investment banking and asset management arm of DAI, focused on developing and frontier markets. He was previously a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International and served as a commissioner on the Business & Sustainable Development Commission.
Technical Director
Scott has spent 25 years at the forefront of technical excellence and honed his skills in the academic sector. His experience caught the eye of the hospitality sector and he has designed and managed some award winning theatre and screening rooms around the UK, becoming a technical lead for film and broadcast projects. Scott is responsible for the digital and tech services for all of the Two Daughters Entertainment Productions.
Commercial Director
Rob has over 30 years experience across global entertainment and consumer products industries, having overseen licensing, merchandising and business development for the Academy Award winning studio, Aardman Animations - Shaun The Sheep and Wallace and Gromit. Rob is responsible for Two Daughter’s brands worldwide including the commercial exploitation through licensing and merchandising, maximising the market potential for Moley globally and the upcoming titles in the film slate.
Marketing Director
Mikey has worked in the entertainment industry for over 20 years, specialising in Film & TV marketing. During his tenure at Studiocanal, Mikey held executive roles including Head of UK Home Entertainment and SVP International Marketing, overseeing the UK Home Ent campaign for the Paddington and Shaun the Sheep movies as well as leading the global creative campaign for Paddington 2. Prior to setting up his consultancy business, Mikey was also SVP International Marketing at STX Entertainment, leading all marketing, publicity and distribution activity across their slate which included Greenland and My Spy.
Management Accountant
Geraldine qualified as a Chartered Accountant with BDO Stoy Hayward in 1992. She was a manager at MacIntyres, where she oversaw work on many clients including Channel Four and Planet 24. She returned to BDO Stoy Hayward at the Epsom office where she headed the firm’s Small Business Unit. Twenty years ago Geraldine set up her own practice in Wimbledon where she has helped grow a variety of businesses over the years.
Producer
Tony is the founder of Nottage Productions Ltd, which produces high end bespoke animation for the TV, film and commercial sectors. Tony has over 20 years’ animation experience and started his own UK based animation studio and went on to write and produce Saving Santa his first feature film, which sold to over 25 countries. Tony is writing, producing and directing a slate of animated feature films.
Creative Director
Alan is a hugely respected figure in the world of British culture, in the fields of television, arts, and broadcasting. He’s served as Director of Television and as Creative Director of the BBC, and has presented and produced many notable programs, and launched BBC’s Children’s channels CBBC and CBeebies commissioning the animations Wallace and Grommit and the Teletubbies. As Chairman of BBC Films, Yentob has made a huge contribution to the world of independent cinema with films like Billy Elliot and The Power of the Dog, and has brought the arts to a wider audience.
Executive Producer
Warwick is an English actor, television presenter, writer, director and producer. He played the title character in Willow and the Leprechaun film series, the Ewok Wicket in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter films. Warwick also starred as a fictionalised version of himself in the sitcom Life’s Too Short, written and directed by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
Co-Producer
Jordi was Development Director at Esicma, and Vice-President of Creative Affairs at Columbia Films. He wrote and produced the great critical and box-office success Tad the Lost Explorer, winner of the Goya Award for Best Animated Film and awarded Best Adapted Screenplay. 2015 saw the première of “Capture the Flag” which he wrote with Javier Barreira and Neil Landau, while in 2017, Tad the Lost Explorer and The Secret of King Midas was released, a film on which he featured as producer and scriptwriter.
Director
Leon started out with a mentorship at Disney Studios in Los Angeles under Erik Larson, before progressing as an animator on Little Mermaid, and then moving on to directing (under Roy Disney), on films like Scooby Doo and Aliens in the Attic. Leon worked with Tony Nottage on Saving Santa and Reds and Grays and on Tony’s latest film The Land of Sometimes.
Music Producer
Maggie worked at both the BBC and EMI. She has worked as music producer and supervisor on many high profile films scores including Kubo and the Two Strings, Cinderella, The Boxtrolls, Brave, Thor, Jane Eyre, The King’s Speech, Bridget Jones Diary, Pride & Prejudice, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Maggie served as a PRS Director for many years and was an active member of the PRS Executive Board. Maggie was a member of the BAFTA Film committee for six years and is currently the Chairman of the BAFTA Archive, Heritage & Exhibitions Committee.
Director
Somu co-founded Cosmo-Giantwheel, and is the CEO and Creative Director. In a career span of 22 years, he has to his credit films like Narnia, GI Joe and The Night at the Museum 2 while working with The Moving Picture Company in London. Recently Somu was the Executive Producer on The Wild Adventures of Blinky Bill aired on Network 7 Australia and Creative Supervisor on Bottersnikes and Gumbles a BBC, Network 7 and Netflix series.
Line Producer
Shirani has worked in the film industry for two decades across various aspects of the business: distribution and production. She started her career at Sony Pictures where she worked for 9 years on blockbusters such as Men In Black, Erin Brokovich, Spiderman and The Da Vinci Code. Since then she has worked as an independent film producer on various projects for French companies (studio Gaumont among others), as well as for clients in the UK and Spain. Shirani is a member of BAFTA. A Business School Graduate, she lives in London and speaks fluent English and French.
